Every best-player list is someone else's argument. Somebody decided how much scoring counts against passing, whether a clean shot beats a busy one, what a turnover should cost. Their answer became a number one, and your only move was to agree or complain.

Define Your Best gives you the pen. Six sliders, one for each thing a player does on the floor: Scoring, Efficiency (points per shot), Rebounding, Passing, Disruption (steals and blocks), and Turnovers, the one that works against you. Set them the way you see the game and the whole league re-sorts as you drag.

Push Scoring to ten and the volume scorers rise. Pull it back, lift Passing and Efficiency, punish turnovers, and a different name lands on top. Same season, same numbers, your question.

In a hurry, start from a recipe and bend it: Pure scorer, Playmaker, Glue guy.

One rule we kept: no fake "Defense" slider. The box score only sees steals and blocks, so we call that slice Disruption and never pretend it is the whole story.

Every formula lives in its own link, so you can end an argument by sending the exact list. Building and sharing cost nothing. A free account adds the rest: save and name your formulas, filter by team, and set a minimum-games floor so nobody tops the list on four lucky nights. Skip the account and you keep the building. You just cannot keep what you built.

The leaderboard ranks the league one stat at a time. This ranks it by your idea of the game. Go build the list you have been arguing about all season.
