Three-point shooting jumps around game to game, even for great shooters. A team that hits 40% over a season can hit 25% in a given week. Over five games, treat it with real caution. Over a full season, it settles and starts to mean something.

Percentage without volume says nothing about strategy

A team hitting 40% on 300 attempts is very different from one hitting 40% on 900. The first uses the three as a selective weapon, the second has built its whole offense on it. Same percentage, opposite philosophies. Always read it next to three-point attempt rate.
